Organizational Message

Since 1918, the Ohio Association of Professional Fire Fighters (OAPFF) has proudly stood beside the brave men and women who protect the lives, property, and well-being of Ohioans. For more than a century, we have remained dedicated to ensuring Ohio's professional firefighters have the representation, training, resources, and legislative advocacy needed to serve their communities safely and effectively.

As the fire service has evolved to meet increasingly complex emergencies, the OAPFF has expanded its programs, services, and support to address the changing needs of our members. While firefighters are on the front lines protecting their communities, the OAPFF is on the front lines protecting them. From advocating at the Statehouse in Columbus to providing guidance and assistance to local affiliates across Ohio, we are committed to standing with our members every step of the way.

Our strength comes from unity. Guided by our Executive Board, supported by a dedicated staff, and powered by passionate local affiliate leaders and members, the OAPFF continues to be a trusted voice for Ohio's professional firefighters. Together, we are building a stronger future for our profession while honoring the legacy of those who came before us.
