My name is Mike Peel. I was lucky enough to be born on September 11th (the kind of luck I have) in the year 1970. Jackson Township IAFF Local 2280 in Stark County has been my home for the past 23 years. I have served as union president for the last 15 of them. I am divorced and have 3 daughters. One is 18, attending The Ohio State University, one is 15, a sophomore in high school, living with me, and the third is 13 with special needs, and shares time between her mother and I. I understand the troubles of dealing with divorce, custody issues and all that goes with it as well as the difficulties of raising a special needs child. Without sounding like a dating game contestant, my interests include family, motorcycles, bicycling, Cleveland sports (Browns….yikes!!), Buckeye football, hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends at the local watering hole.
