Peer Supporter Don Fobean

Don Fobean has served on the Barberton Fire Department for over 30 years. Don currently holds the rank of Captain / Paramedic working at Barberton Fire Station #1 as the B Shift Commander. Don worked on the Summit County Special Operations Response Team (Division: Technical Rescue Operations Team) for over 15 years. Don’s passion is teaching, holding certifications as a Fire Service and Emergency Medical Service Instructor. Don is currently teaching EMT-B, Paramedic and CE at Cleveland Clinic / Akron General and has been for over 20 years. Don grew up and currently resides in Stow, Ohio with his Wife of 24 years Rene and their two Daughters Katlyn 21 years old and Samantha 13 years old. Recently trained as an IAFF peer supporter, Don believes in taking care of our own.
